Slow Cooker Mac and Cheese

Ingredients Related Tips

  • 16 oz. elbow macaroni
  • 3 cups milk
  • 8 oz. velveeta, cut into chunks (homemade recipe HERE)
  • 1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, cut into chunks
  • 3 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese


  1. Cook pasta in boiling water 3 minutes short of being al dente.
  2. Place the cooked macaroni, milk, velveeta, butter and cheddar cheese into a crockpot.
  3. Stir and top with Parmesan cheese.
  4. Set heat to Low and cook for 2 to 3 hours.
  5. Stir occasionally and check for doneness starting at the 2-hour mark.
  6. Enjoy!
