ingredients

  • 2 lb hot breakfast sausage
  • 1 (30-32oz) bag frozen shredded hash browns
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp pepper

directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. In a large skillet:  cook your sausage until browned, drain fat
  3. Add frozen hash browns to the skillet and cook until browned
  4. Place hash browns in the bottom of a greased 9x13 inch pan
  5. Top with sausage and cheese
  6. Whisk together eggs, salt, pepper, and milk.  Pour over hash brown/sausage mixture (you can cover and refrigerate at this point if you're cooking it later on)
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes
