1 - 1 1/2 pounds of zucchini or yellow squash1 1/2 cups of cheddar cheese (adjust for how much cheese you desire)4 pieces of bacon, dicedsalt and pepper
Slice the squash and place on bottom of casserole dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Put a layer of cheese on top. Place a few diced pieces of bacon partially cooked on top. Repeat layers according to your wish. Bake at 350 F. for 30 minutes. Serves 4
