This recipe is great for anyone wanting a good seafood dinner for around $5!

ingredients

  • 1 (15oz) can of salmon
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • Salt and pepper
  • 2 tbs butter
  • 2 tbs oil

directions

  • Heat 2 tbs of butter and 2 tbs of oil in a frying pan or cast iron skillet.
  • Combine the salmon, eggs, bread crumbs, and salt and pepper.
  • Shape them into hamburger sized patties and put in heated pan with the butter and oil.
  • Cook until browned on both sides (about 4-6 minutes on each side).
  • Can be served over rice or in between hamburger buns!
*The recipe is also great if you add other flavors, such as cheese, diced jalapenos, or squeeze lemon juice in the pan
