Taco Burgers

description

taco....burgers(:

ingredients

2 tbs oil or butter
1lb ground beef
1 packet taco seasoning
1/8 cup water
about 5 dashes of hot sauce.
cheese (any kind will do, but i normally get the mexiblend shredded.)
sour cream
jalepenos
tomato
black olives
lettuce

and anything else you like on a taco.

directions

mix ground beef, taco seasoning, water, and hotsauce.

make 8 thin patties.

place a fair amount of cheese right in the middle of 4 of the patties,
placing the other four on top, sealing the edges of each patty, to where they form one large one.

heat the butter, or oil in a large skillet. use a bacon press, if you have one to help flatten the patty once its in the pan. If not, use castiron skillet... they work great, maybe a heavy plate? lol. the point is to not make the meat of the burger fairly thin, otherwise... all the toppings will fall off, and youll lose more than you get to eat.

toast buns in the oven, by broiling... inside up, for about 3 minutes.

remove buns; place patty on top, add some sour cream, a little more shredded cheese, then go crazy with toppings!!!
