ingredients

  • 6 oz uncooked macaroni elbow or any kind pasta
  • 3 cup fresh pre-chopped broccoli florets
  • 3 slice bacon, chopped
  • 12 oz skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1/2 inch thick
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder or minced garlic u can use too
  • 1 tsp 1/8 season all spice (optional)
  • 1 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 5 oz cheddar shredded cheese

 

directions

  1. Start by cooking your pasta al dente. Last two minutes of pasta being done add broccoli to same pan so it can boil. Just two minutes is fine.
  2. Drain pasta mixture. Set aside.
  3. Cook Bacon in another pan. 4 to 6 minutes till crisp. Remove bacon with a slotted spoon and put bacon aside.
  4. In same skillet u cooked bacon (use same bacon grease) your going to cook your chicken. But first, season your chicken with garlic and all spice. Then throw chicken in pan with bacon grease.
  5. Cook chicken for about 6 to 8 minutes.
  6. Combine remaining 3/4 teaspoon salt, milk, stock, and flour, stirring with a whisk. Add milk mixture to pan; bring to a boil, stirring frequently. Cook 2 minutes or until thickened. Add pasta mixture and 2 ounces cheese; toss to coat. Sprinkle with remaining 3 ounces cheese and bacon. Broil 2 minutes or until cheese melts.

I tried this recipe but instead of using cheddar cheese used half mozzarella and fresco added more bacon my family loved it!

1st time using one of these sites to help me find New Recipes. Granddaughter said THIS. IS. BOMMMB GRAMMY! And gave 👍👍 Next will use A LOT MORE BACON & Cotija cheese add some Sriracha chicken forZing!
