These are so easy... and they're SO GOOD!
ingredients
- Cheese (cut into small cubes)
- Wonton Wrappers
- Oil for frying
directions
- Brush wonton wrapper with water, then place ANOTHER wrapper on top so then stick together (double wonton - if you will)
- Place your Cheese in the center. No "set amount" just make sure you can close it.
- Put a little more water around the edges of the wonton to help it stick
- Bring the OPPOSITE corners together and pinch tightly (repeat with the other corners, make sure it's sealed TIGHT so cheese can't leak out)
- Pour about an inch of oil in a saucepan and heat it up (around 325)
- Very carefully, PLACE (don't drop) your Wontons in the oil and fry until golden brown (around a minute depending on how many you're frying)
- Side note: you can also bake these for 10 minutes at 400 if you don't want to fry. (Flip them at 5 minutes)
