ingredients
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup butter
1 beaten egg
1 cup sifted flour
1 tsp.baking soda
1 tsp.cinnamon
1/2 tsp.salt-
2 cups finely chopped and peeled apples
1/2 cup pecans.
Caramel Sauce-Cook in double boiler until thick
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 evaporated milk
1 tsp.vanilla.
directions
Cream sugar and butter.Add beaten egg.Stir in flour,baking soda,cinnamon,and salt.Mix well,then stir in apples and pecans.Pour into greased 9x9 inch baking dish.Bake 40 mins.at 350 degrees. Serve warm-Top with caramel sauce and or whipped cream
