Simple Scrambled Eggs

description

A no-nothing, simple recipe for some feel-good scrambled eggs.

ingredients

2 Whole Eggs, Jumbo Size
1 Slice Whole Grain Bread
1 Tbsp Butter
Olive Oil
Sea Salt
Ground Black Pepper

directions

1) Warm up the stove to Medium-High heat (around a 7 on a number scale) and set frying pan on top.
2) Crack the eggs into a small bowl. DO NOT BEAT.
3) Put bread in toaster for a very LIGHT toast.
4) Wait until you can see some smoke on coming from the pan (roughly 3-5 minutes since turning on stove).
5) Gently slide butter into pan until it covers most, if not all, of pan. It will probably brown. That's okay.
6) Gently slide eggs into pan. NOW we beat, using a rubber/plastic spatula or whisk. Stir and break until yolk is mixed (not necessarily blended) with whites.
7) Serve eggs on a small plate. Place toast next to eggs.
8) Drizzle olive oil over meal to your heart's content.
9) Add salt and pepper on eggs to taste. Kudos if you have grinders for both.

Use fork to serve eggs onto toast one bite at a time. For a no-utensils version, place toast first in center of plate, drizzle olive oil over toast, serve eggs over toast, and add salt and pepper to eggs.

Enjoy. And smile.
