Sausage-Mushroom Quiche

Flourless crust to keep it low-carb; 3g per slice

ingredients

1 lb. Italian-seasoned sausage (chicken, pork or turkey; 0-3g)
6 eggs (6g)
8 oz. shredded cheddar cheese (8g)
1 small can of mushroom pieces (2g net)
1 c. heavy cream (0g)
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped cilantro or other herbs, optional (0g)

directions

1) Press uncooked sausage into a deep-dish pie pan to form a crust. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes; drain.
2) Whisk together eggs, cheddar, mushrooms, seasonings, cream, and herbs.
3) Pour into mixture pre-baked sausage shell and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

Made this recipe.I used skim milk,gouda cheese and omitted the herbs(only because I forgot) was going from memory of your recipe when making it.It a big hit with my family,next time will try herbs Thanks for an awesome
