Spicy, Smokey, and Delicious!

ingredients

Lot's of Jalapeno's (most people eat 2 or 3)

Raw ground beef

Cream cheese

Any meat seasoning you like

BACON!

directions

Slice the jalapeno's in half lengthwise. Side note- if you slice the top off just before the stem it creates a notch to allow the top to sit evenly on the filling.

Scrape all the seeds and veins out of the pepper= the better you scrape the less spicy these will be, but ultimately it depends on the spice factor of your bunch of peppers.

Fill the bottom of the pepper with some ground beef- don't overfill.

On top of the beef, add a layer of cream cheese ( I like extra) Sprinkle your seasoning on top of all the peppers.

Put the tops back on and wrap the whole thing with bacon and secure with a toothpick.

Put on a hot smoker and smoke for 1 hour or so until all the ground beef is cooked through.

We have made these on a grill and in the oven and the smoker gives the best flavor. I know this is an old recipe, but trust me, they are awesome!
