Delicious Melt with common delicious ingredients!
ingredients
2 Slices of Whole Grain Bread
4 Slices of Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1/4 Can of Diced Tomatoes seasoned with Basil and Garlic
1/2 Avocado
Garlic and Onion Seasoning
Salt
All ingredients may be substituted to taste; this is just what I found delicious!
directions
1. Set oven to broil
2. Grease a baking sheet
3. Slice half an Avocado (I did it in strips) and place onto slices of bread.
4. Top avocado with Garlic and Onion Seasoning and Salt and spoon out Diced Tomatos leaving a little room around the edges so that they do not spill over while in oven.
5. Top the Diced tomatoes strategically with the Cheddar Cheese and again leave room for melting.
6. Place in heated oven for about 5 minutes (check regularly). When cheese is browned it is ready.
