Quesadilla with a mixture of medi and mexican
ingredients
2 Large round tortillas
1/2 Cup Salsa (Alt. pasta sauce)
1/2 Cup shredded cheese
Sliced Turkey and/or Ham and/or chicken (I used all)
Penne or Macaroni noodle (or anything really, I prefer Penne because of its length and cooking)
1/4 cup rice
directions
Preheat oven to ~400F
Start cooking rice
Start cooking Penne or Noodles
Spread cheese over one tortilla
cover with sliced turkey or deli meat
spread salsa (don't use too much as to not saturate the tortilla)
when rice is done, spread over your meat layer
carefully place penne over rice layer (rice will help keep it in one place)
spread another layer of cheese to help stick to top tortilla
*spread so all layers are even, not poking out edges
place 2nd tortilla on top.
Place in oven, flip tortilla after 10 minutes. Total bake time should be around 20 minutes.
*Tortilla will most likely slip off so be careful.
