Half veggie, half cold cut pizza

ingredients

The secret of my pizza it's in the dough. I haven't seen this kind of dough in any of the pizzas I can buy in Canada or USA. The taste is unique and it comes out crispy and light.

Recipe for dough: (for 2 pizzas)

  • 250 ml warm water
  • 2 tbsp vegetable or canola oil
  • salt to your taste
  • 500 gr all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 tbsp dry quick yeast

    Recipe for tomato sauce:
  • 1/2 onion chopped
  • 1 clove garlic chopped
  • 1 cup pasta sauce salt - oregano - paprika - pepper - chili peppers (if you want spicy sauce only)
  • 1 or 2 tbsp vegetable or canola oil

Toppings: Half side: Lightly spread tomato sauce mozzarella cheese chicken breast sliced roasted red pepper (as much as you want) green olives Other half: Lightly spread tomato sauce Shredded carrots green peppers red peppers onion slices bean sprouts tomato slices some broccoli shredded mozzarella cheese shredded cheddar cheese

directions

If you have a breadmaker add the ingredients as I wrote it here and put it in the dough cycle. Once the machine finished mixing and making the dough, don't let it rise, take it out. Cut the dough in two and make two balls. Spread one of the dough's in a 26 cm pizza pan and let it rise for 50 minutes. (or you can make a small circle and throw it in the air until you get the size of pizza you want :) ) If you have another pan you can do both at the same time. If you don't have a breadmaker, add the ingredients as written in a bowl and make a dough until it doesn't stick in your hands. (it's important that the salt doesn't touch the yeast, otherwise it won't rise). Once your dough is done, you have to knead it as much as you can, for around 10 to 15 minutes (you can throw it over the table with all your might several times :) ) Spread some olive oil to your pizza pans so it doesn't stick and also gives the pizza that awesome flavor! Once your dough is done, make two balls with it and spread it in your pizza pans. Let it rise for 50 minutes. Meanwhile prepare your tomato sauce: Grab a skillet, add oil to it, then add onion and garlic. Let it cook for a couple of minutes and then add tomato sauce. Add your spices, let it cook for 5 minutes and it's done. Once your dough has risen, lightly add some of your tomato sauce all over the dough and put it in the oven until the crust is crispy (400 F) Once its cooked, take it out, add the toppings and again put in the oven until the cheese is melted. The second dough you can add other toppings or you can cook it with the sauce and then freeze it until you are ready to use it. Enjoy! (sending you 2 pics, one before the cheese melted in the oven, one ready to eat) Juliette.
