Classic Favorite!!
ingredients
- 2 lb. ground beef
- 2 (24oz) cans Hunt’s spaghetti sauce (or your favorite recipe, one below if you need it)
- 2 can tomato sauce, 15 oz
- 1-2 onions, diced
- about 3-4 cups Mozzarella
- generous shakes of oregano, basil, salt and pepper (optional)
- 16oz Spaghetti Noodles
Spaghetti Sauce: (makes about 1-2 cups)
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 (28 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1-2 tsp lemon juice
directions
- Brown the meat with the onion.
- Drain the fat and rinse under hot water.
- Cook the spaghetti according to the package directions. (maybe a little underdone)
- Drain and stir it together with the meat, sauces and extra spices.
- Put it into a casserole dish and top with cheese.
- Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes, or till hot and bubbly.
