Broccoli and Mushroom Alfredo

Great way to learn to love broccoli and mushrooms

ingredients

1 lb Penne Rigate pasta
1 jar Bertolli alfredo sauce (my favorite from all I've tested)
8 oz mushrooms, halved and sliced
1 head fresh broccoli, chopped to bite size
salt/pepper (optional)
Parmesan cheese (optional)

directions

1. Cook pasta, set aside and keep warm.
2. In large skillet put in enough cooking oil to cover bottom. Cook the broccoli and mushrooms on med/high for about 3 minutes or until broccoli is at its brightest.
3. Add sauce to vegetables, cook for 5 minutes. Add salt/pepper to taste.
4. Mix the sauce and cheese (to taste) into the pasta
