1 cup vodka
directions
Render the fat from several pieces of smoked bacon (either in the oven or in a pan on the stove) and when cooled add the rendered fat to a clean mason jar. To this add one cup of premium vodka and let steep for several hours to over night. Place the steeped mixture in the freezer for several hours until the fat freezes and can be removed. Strain the remaining liquid several times first through a tea strainer, then through a coffee filter and then through cheese cloth (in order to remove all solids).
