You can use Franks Red Hot... but I've been enjoying making it from scratch
ingredients
2 teaspoons Chili Powder
½ teaspoons Sweet Paprika
½ teaspoons Onion Powder
½ teaspoons Cayenne Powder
¼ teaspoons Salt
2 teaspoons Canola Oil
½ teaspoons Honey
¼ teaspoons Smoked Paprika
â…“ cups Rice Wine Vinegar
1 Tablespoon Cornstarch
1 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
directions
Put all of the ingredients into a saucepan and stir to combine. Heat over medium-high heat until just starting to bubble. Remove from heat and allow the sauce to cool. Store in an airtight bottle. Keep refrigerated.
Yield: About 1/2 cup.
*If making wings, toss with melted butter prior to coating wings. Melted butter will not keep well once its combined with the sauce but helps make great buffalo wings.
