ingredients

HOMEMADE CINNAMON-SUGAR TORTILLA CHIPS

  • 8 small flour tortillas (6 inch diameter)
  • 3 Tablespoons (45g) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Toppings

  • Chocolate Syrup (homemade recipe here!)
  • Caramel
  • Whipped Cream
  • Sliced Fruit (Bananas, Strawberries, etc..)

directions

For the homemade tortilla chips: 

  1. Melt Butter in a small bowl
  2. Mix Sugar and Cinnamon in another bowl
  3. Preheat oven to 400F degrees.
  4. Line two large baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Set aside.
  5. Cut the tortillas into 8 even triangles and place in a large mixing bowl.
  6. Pour melted butter over top and toss with a large wooden spoon until each triangle is fairly coated.
  7. Add 3/4 of the Cinnamon mixture to the bowl and toss the triangles to coat.
  8. Line the triangles onto baking sheets in an even layer.
  9. Bake in batches for 5 minutes, flipping halfway through.

Nachos:

  • Pile the Cinnamon Tortilla Chips on a plate and top with the Toppings... you know how to make nachos :)
