Crock Pot Buffalo Chicken Pasta

ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cloves garlic (crushed)
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 cup buffalo sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese (grated)
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast (sliced)
  • 1 cup diced carrots (optional)
  • 1 cup diced celery (optional)
  • 1 cup diced red bell pepper (optional)
  • 1 lb pasta (recommend fettuccine or linguine)

  1. Add the cream to a saucepan over medium heat, cook for 2-3 minutes, then add the butter.
  2. Once the butter has melted, add the garlic, red pepper flakes, black pepper, kosher salt, onion powder, paprika, cayenne pepper and buffalo sauce.
  3. Mix well, then add the Parmesan cheese.
  4. Mix the Parmesan cheese into the sauce, reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5 minutes.
  5. In the meantime, add the chicken, carrots, celery and bell pepper to a large crock pot or slow cooker.
  6. Pour the buffalo Alfredo sauce on top.
  7. Cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours.
  8. Before serving, prepare the pasta according to package directions.
  9. Toss the pasta with the chicken Alfredo and serve immediately.
