Shredded, seasoned chicken soup with a variety of beans

Ingredients Related Tips

  • 2-3 frozen chicken breasts
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 packet (3 Tbsp) ranch dressing mix
  • 2 tsp taco seasoning
  • 1 can tomatoes with chilies (I use Rotel)
  • 1 can black beans undrained
  • 1 can white beans undrained (I use great northern)
  • 1 can vegetarian baked beans
  • 1 can corn undrained


  • Place frozen chicken breasts in bottom of slow cooker
  • layer remaining ingredients.
  • When chicken is cooked (usually about 4-6 hours on low), shred and return to slow cooker.
  • Mix together.

**This soup is fantastic alone but you can add all sorts of toppings such as tortilla chips, cheese, sour cream, or avocado.
