ingredients
- 15-20 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
- 1/2 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
- 1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- cinnamon to taste
directions
- Put apple slices through a food processor until chunky
- Combine sugars and apples and cook for 4 hours on high in a covered crock pot.
- Put the cooked apples back through the food processor until smooth.
- Place back into an uncovered crock pot for 2-4 hours, until it has an almost oatmeal type consistency.
- Cool completed before storing, it took me about 3 hours to cool.
