I tried this recipe right now and something isn't right. put them in for 20min at 425 degrees. when took out, the tops were very dark(on verge of burnt) center rolls weren't even cooked. They all still raw dough.

I was also wondering where the pizza sauce came in! But, put some inside balls. didn't place them so close, & cooked at biscuit package temp of 400 degrees. They out fantastic!

My only question is why would the recipe call for 56 slices of pepperoni, and 28 pieces cheese? When you need 60 od 30 cheese 3 packages biscuits with 10 in each package.

The pizza sauce was forgotten.. I would suggest leaving it on the side as a dipping and brushing rolls with garlic butter instead an egg for more flavor.
