Not Fried Ice Cream Cake

This is AWESOME y'all!!

ingredients

  • 1 Stick of Butter
  • 3/4 cup of Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 3 cups of crushed Corn Flakes
  • 1.75 quart container Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 1 8oz tub of Cool Whip
  • 3/4 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • Honey for Drizzling

directions

Leave Ice Cream out to soften for 30 minutes

For the Crust: In a Skillet -

  • Melt Butter then add Sugar and Salt.  Stir until fully combined. (2 minutes)
  • Add Corn Flakes and cook for another 5 minutes

In a Mixing Bowl

  • Mix Ice Cream, Cool Whip, and Cinnamon

In a baking dish:

  1. Press about 1/2 the "Cornflake Crust" into the bottom and let cool
  2. Spread the "Ice Cream Mixture" over the Crust.
  3. Sprinkle/Top with the rest of the "Cornflake Crust"
  4. Throw in the freezer for a few hours. 
  5. Take out, Drizzle with Honey, and serve!
