It's that simple...pasta with some butter and melted cheddar on top. My friend and I discovered it one night when we didn't have much food in the house.
ingredients
8 oz Pasta (in general)
Cheddar cheese
Butter/margarine
directions
1. Bring a pot of water to a boil
2.Add as much pasta as you wish to eat.
3. Let pasta cook for approximately 10 minutes or until cooked to your desire.
4. Drain pasta
5. Set out as much pasta as you would like to eat on a plate
6. Add a small amount of butter to the pasta (about half a teaspoon per regular sized plate), the amount is not really that important.
7. Grade some cheddar cheese over the pasta. You may like more or less cheese, but I prefer to really coat it with cheese.
8.(optional*) Put the pasta dish in the microwave for 15 seconds. If the cheese in not melted, repeat this step until it is. Make sure your microwave turntable is spinning though or some of that pasta and cheese will become overcooked. I suggest you do not microwave it for anymore than two minutes.
*The heat of the pasta alone can melt the cheese.
