My go-to chicken marinade, very easy, very good
ingredients
3 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon vegetable oil(I've used canola oil, or no oil at all if you're baking instead of grilling)
1 teaspoon lime juice(you can use lemon juice, if it's fresh from the lemon)
1 teaspoon chopped garlic
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
directions
1. In a shallow container, blend soy sauce, honey, vegetable oil, lime juice, and garlic. Place chicken breast halves into the mixture, and turn to coat. Cover, and marinate in the refrigerator at least 30 minutes.
2. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat.
3. Lightly oil the grill grate. Discard marinade, and grill chicken 6 to 8 minutes on each side, until juices run clear.
For Oven baking instructions:
1. Mix all ingredients in a zip-loc bag
2. Let the bag sit in the fridge for 30+ minutes
3. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees (this is approximate, it works for me)
4. Put in a tin foil pouch inside a casserole dish
5. Put the dish in the oven and bake for 30-45 minutes depending on the size of the chicken pieces
