Really Good Stuffed Peppers

Yep... that's true... they are REALLY GOOD!!

ingredients

  • 1 beefy onion soup mix (envelope)
  • 2 lb lean ground chuck
  • 3/4 c bread crumbs,gluten free
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 can(s) tomato sauce small can, 8 oz.
  • 3/4 c water
  • 4 whole bell peppers, green and yellow
  • salt, pepper, Lawry's seaoning

directions

  1. Mix beef and rest of ingredients (except peppers and Lawry's) in large bowl.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Slightly blanch bell peppers after slicing in half lengthwise. (boil for a minute then place in cold water)
  4. Fill in mounds with beef mix.
  5. Sprinkle with Lawry's lightly.
  6. Place in a 13x9x2 pan.
  7. Bake 30 min covered with foil. Then an additional 30 min uncovered.
  8. Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  9. Let sit 10 min before serving.
