Semi-spicy beef over egg noodles for an asian flare
ingredients
For stir fry: 1 lb. beef tips, large yellow onion, 3 cloves garlic, 1/2 a green bell pepper (optional), sweet chili sauce, sriracha hot sauce, butter, salt, pepper, cumin, cayenne pepper
For noodles: 1/2 pound egg noodles, water, salt, olive oil
directions
Melt 4 tbs. of butter in a large sized non-stick pan. once butter is melted, begin caramelizing half of a large onion, 1/2 a green bell pepper, and 3 cloves of garlic.
Once mixture is almost fully cooked, drop in the beef tips. as the beef tips cook, pour in 2 tbs of sweet chili sauce, and stir. sprinkle cumin and cayenne over tips to taste. If you like less spicy, then use less seasoning.
Stir in another 2 tbs of sweet chili sauce, and cook till beef tips are at desired doneness. Bring water to a boil in a large pot. Pour in 1 tbs of oil and 1 1/2 tbs of salt.
Once water is boiling, pour in the noodles. Allow the noodles to cook until a little after al dente. Drain noodles and spray with cold water. Drain again. Pour out noodles on to a large serving platter, place beef on top, pour the juices from the cooked beef over top of the beef and noodles, and serve with sriracha on the side!
