Churro chips

description

Need dessert in a pinch? With 4 ingredients you can have quick cinnamony goodness

ingredients

Tortillas, vegetable oil, cinnamon, sugar

directions

Heat your oil up in a pan on the stove. Test the heat with a tiny piece of tortilla, if starts to sizzle it's hot enough. You can use as many tortillas as you want to but generally 1 tortilla is enough for 1 person. Cut your tortilla into strips, I prefer to cut my strips into thirds but it is up to you. Add your tortilla strips to the oil and fry. Once the edges start to brown flip them. Don't let them sit too long because the second side browns must faster than the first! Transfer to paper towels to drain oil. On a small plate or bowl mix enough sugar and cinnamon to your liking. Toss your fried tortilla strips in the cinnamon sugar mix and enjoy!
Caution: May be hot immediately after removing from oil.
