If Baking Soda bubbles in water... it's good

You know that moment when you realize that your baking powder is no good? (it's usually when you're in the middle of baking) 

To find out if your baking powder is still good, put some in a glass of water. If it bubbles, bake away. If not, toss it and head to the store
