Find the hot spots in your oven

Before you chuck your old bread - Figure out where your ovens hot spots are! The birds want it toasted anyway 

Arrange bread slices to cover the middle oven rack. Bake at 350° for a few minutes, and see which slices get singed―their location
will tell you where the hot spots are so you can avoid them, or rotate whatever you're cooking.
