ingredients

  • Choose your meat (whatever you like Chicken, Lamb, Beef, etc...)
  • 1 tablespoon Mediterranean seasoning (Italian Seasoning works too)
  • 4 pitas (or even tortillas in a pinch)
  • optional: lettuce, feta cheese crumbles
  • Sliced Peppers and Onions
tzatziki sauce
  • 1/2 English cucumber, peeled and diced
  • 2 cups cold plain Greek yogurt
  • 4 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1/3 cup chopped dill, fresh or frozen (may sub 2 tablespoons dried dill)
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice (juice of ½ medium lemon)
  • 1/2 tsp salt, or to taste
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper

Homemade Med Seasoning

  • tablespoons dried rosemary
  • tablespoons ground cumin
  • tablespoons ground coriander
  • tablespoon dried oregano
  • teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

directions

  1. Puree all the "Sauce" ingredients in a blender and chill.
  2. Season your meat with the Mediterranean Seasoning and cook in the skillet until fully cooked through
  3. Lay your Pitas flat, add lettuce, tomatoes, onions, peppers, etc... whatever you like
