Bang Bang Shrimp Pasta

description

Amazing sauce!

ingredients

  • 1 lb pasta (I used spaghetti)
  • 1 1/2 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 Tbsp oil
  • 3 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste

Sauce

  • 1/2 c. Mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. sweet Chili Sauce
  • 3 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • Juice of 1 Lime
  • 1 teaspoon Sriracha (optional)

directions

  1. Mix the sauce ingredients together in a bowl and set aside.
  2. In a large pot of boiling water, cook the pasta and drain well.
  3. Toss uncooked shrimp in a medium sized bowl with paprika, garlic and, pepper
  4. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in large sauté pan, add shrimp and cook 3 minutes on each side or until pink and firm to touch.
  5. In a large bowl, combine the pasta, shrimp and sauce mixture and toss together!
  6. You could also just toss the Sauce and Shrimp together and place on a "Bed" of pasta if the sauce is a little too much for ya.  Enjoy!!
