Delicious for parties, friends, tailgating, or just for fun!

ingredients

Twinkies popsicle sticks oil for frying

Batter-

1 cup milk

2 tbsp. vinegar

1 tbsp. vegetable oil

1 cup flour

1 tsp. baking powder

Powdered sugar for dusting.

directions

Freeze twinkies for at least a few hours. When ready, sift flour and baking powder. Mix together milk, vinegar and oil. Whisk the wet ingredients into the dry just until smooth. Push popsicle sticks into twinkies and dip into batter. Fry for a few minutes ( no more than 5) until they are golden brown and a little crispy. Let cool slightly and dust with powdered sugar. Word of caution- you will be soooo excited to try these as soon as they come out the fryer- as will your friends, let them cool a little because that filling is HOT! No one likes a burned tongue and roof of your mouth, although the deliciousness is arguably worth it! Enjoy!
