description

These are so easy... and they're SO GOOD!

ingredients

  • Cheese (cut into small cubes)
  • Wonton Wrappers
  • Oil for frying

directions

  1. Brush wonton wrapper with water, then place ANOTHER wrapper on top so then stick together (double wonton - if you will)
  2. Place your Cheese in the center.  No "set amount" just make sure you can close it.
  3. Put a little more water around the edges of the wonton to help it stick
  4. Bring the OPPOSITE corners together and pinch tightly (repeat with the other corners, make sure it's sealed TIGHT so cheese can't leak out)
  5. Pour about an inch of oil in a saucepan and heat it up (around 325)
  6. Very carefully, PLACE (don't drop) your Wontons in the oil and fry until golden brown (around a minute depending on how many you're frying)
  7. Side note:  you can also bake these for 10 minutes at 400 if you don't want to fry.  (Flip them at 5 minutes)
