Easy Peanut Butter Candy

Quick and easy peanut butter candy you make in the microwave

ingredients

1 cup peanut butter (crunchy or smooth)
1 stick butter
2 3/4 cups powdered sugar
1 cup chocolate chips
2 tablespoons butter

directions

Melt peanut butter and stick of butter in the microwave in 1-2 minute increments. Stir in powdered sugar (mixture will be stiff and you may need to use your hands to incorporate all the powdered sugar). Pat into an 11 x 7-inch glass dish. Melt chocolate chips and 2 tablespoons butter in the microwave on high in 15 second intervals. Mix together and spread over peanut butter layer.

Allow candy to refrigerate for 30-60 minutes to firm up. Bring to room temperature and cut into small pieces.
